As an essential business Maid The Day continues to operate and help our clients keep there homes clean and healthier.
I would like to reiterate our safety procedures and enlist your support to ensure you and our employees are safe as we continue to come into your home.
Safety Precautions We Are Taking
• Stay Home Policy. If any of our techs have flu-like symptoms or are in contact with anyone with similar symptoms or who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 they have been instructed to stay home.
• 6’ Social Distancing. We ask that our techs be given 6 feet of social space while cleaning.
• Hand Sanitation. Your cleaning technician will sanitize their hands before entering your home and will wear gloves while in your home.
• Changing Linen. We will continue to make beds, but ask that you strip the bed and remove the linen if you want us to put on fresh linen.
• Vacuums. Our vacuums use a Hepa filters and are sanitized daily. If you prefer we use your vacuum, just let us know.
• Equipment Sanitizing. Equipment (vacuums, mop handles, etc.) and totes are thoroughly sanitized daily and between houses.
• Microfiber Towels and Mop Heads. All microfiber towels and mops heads are thoroughly sanitized, and are never used in more than one home.
What We Ask of You
• Let us know what you need. Let your technician know if you would like her to wear a mask while in your home. Call the office with any other requests.
• Cancel if sick. Please cancel your cleaning appointment if you or a family member is (all cancellation fees are waived):
o Experiencing flu-like symptoms
o Has tested positive for Corvid-19
o Is self-isolating due to contact with a Covid-19 positive person
• Pause service if necessary. If you have any trepidation or fear related to us being in your home, we will gladly save your spot and freeze your price for up to 60 days.
We want to assure you all that we are taking this seriously. It is our intent to do everything we can to limit the risk to you and our employees.
